PaperCut client

  1. Open Finder, select "Go" (at the top navigation bar) and "Connect to Server"
  2. Copy and paste smb://bota-sprnp1.ead.ubc.ca/pcclient/mac as the server address and click Connect
  3. Sign in using your CWL ID and password
  4. If you see a security warning pop up, do not click on "Move to Trash". Instead, go to System Settings > Privacy and Security and click "Open Anyway"

  1. Drag the PCClient app into your Applications folder
  2. Open your Applications Folder and run the PCClient application
  3. Once PCClient is successfully installed, login with your CWL ID and password again

  1. Open File Explorer, right click This PC and select "Map network drive.."
  2. Choose an available letter in Drive
  3. Enter \\bota-sprnp1.ead.ubc.ca\pcclient\win in the Folder field and check "Connect using different credentials"
  4. Type ead\yourCWLID and CWL password to log in
  5. Once you're connected to the shared folder, double-click client-local-install.exe and run the installation
  6. Log in again once PaperCut client completes the installation
